Actifio Update: Disruptive, Profitable and Growing…

Recently Brian Reagan CMO of Actifio stopped by the east coast offices of SiliconANGLE Media for a sit down with Stu Miniman. Actifio is a software company that is  storage agnostic. It popularized the notion of copy data management. The company made it’s name solving the “copy creep” problem – meaning organizations create a zillion copies of data with no means of organizing and managing the sprawl. This becomes costly and brings risks for organizations as data spins out of control. Increasingly, companies like Actifio are evolving into a full data management platform that impacts developers and speeds time to market. Actifio is focused on serving upper mid-sized and large organizations.

Here’s the interview with Stu that gives a good overview of the company, it’s progress over the years, some typical use cases and a summary of Actifio’s 8th software release.
